The front of this Persian Turkmen Namakdan alternates red and orange bands filled with repeating dark geometric motifs in hooked and angular forms. Narrow herringbone bands with ivory, yellow and light blue details separate the different patterns. The decoration continues up the neck, where a dark band near the opening holds small ivory motifs. On the back, horizontal stripes of varying widths combine red, orange, yellow, pink, ivory and dark tones, with fine lines of light blue.
