For Persian rugs, kilims, textiles and Persian handicrafts purchased at a distance or agreed directly with the shop, Shahmansouri reviews each case carefully before confirming shipping, delivery or in-store collection.

Every piece has its own practical needs. Size, weight, materials, delicacy and destination all matter, so we prefer to confirm the details before dispatch rather than treating every item in the same way.

Shipping by prior agreement

Shipping may be arranged for distance purchases or for products agreed directly with the shop.

The delivery method is considered according to the type of item, the destination and the practical requirements of the piece itself.

In-store pickup in Verona

If preferred, collection can be arranged directly from our shop in Verona.

This may be useful for customers who would like to confirm the chosen rug, kilim or object in person before taking it home.

Packing and protection

For rugs and delicate objects, packing is assessed with care according to the structure of the piece, the materials involved and the journey it will have to make.

An antique rug, a fine rug or a piece with silk details does not call for the same handling as a simpler object. We first look at the piece, then decide the most suitable way to protect it.

Timing, costs and confirmation

Shipping times and costs may vary depending on size, weight, destination and the delivery method chosen.

Before dispatch, we may confirm address details, contact information, product condition and any other practical point that can help avoid unnecessary misunderstandings.

Shipments outside Italy or outside the EU

For shipments outside Italy or outside the EU, customs duties, import taxes or local charges may be payable by the recipient, according to the rules of the destination country.

It is always useful to clarify the destination and the nature of the piece in advance, so that this part of the process can also be handled prudently.
