Broad red bands alternate with narrower stripes decorated with diamonds, small geometric elements and interlacing lines in ivory, orange and dark tones. Along one side, a wider ivory band carries a sequence of branching forms with serrated outlines. The contrast between the red areas and the finely patterned stripes gives rhythm to the composition.
