A papier-mâché object from Iran, with a rectangular structure raised on four feet and fitted with an opening lid. Its dark palette is traced with golden outlines, small floral motifs and ornamental medallions in yellow, green, red and blue. The lid carries a figurative composition with riders, horses and animals among plant forms. The sides repeat a dense, symmetrical decoration, while the interior appears plain and dark.
