This Persian maiolica umbrella stand has a tall cylindrical body, with a rounded rim and a band at the base in cream tones. Stylised fish with light-coloured bodies and curved tails are arranged in rows against a blue background that varies from light to deeper shades. Dark outlines, green, blue and burgundy details and grid patterns distinguish the fish. The circular opening reveals an interior in beige tones.
