This Persian maiolica umbrella stand has a tall, cylindrical body topped by a wide, rounded cream-coloured rim. Numerous stylised fish are arranged in stacked rows against a green background with variations in tone. Dark outlines define their light-coloured bodies and curved tails; grid patterns and blue, green and brown details enrich the decoration. The interior, visible through the opening, has beige and honey tones.
