This Persian maiolica bowl has flared sides, a light-coloured rim and a circular foot. Stylised fish with light-coloured bodies and long curved tails decorate the light blue background both inside and out. A yellow grid covers the upper part of their bodies, while blue bands and fins complete the dark-outlined design. A pink band runs below the rim on both sides; a second, narrower band follows the join with the foot.
