Details
This Persian maiolica sculpture has an elongated body made up of two rounded sections, supported by four legs. The head has a short muzzle, side ears and downward-curving horns. An open neck rises from the rear part of the back, with a flared rim and raised horizontal bands. Small modelled motifs project from the sides and chest. Turquoise areas alternate with terracotta tones; fine cracks run across the glossy parts.
