This maiolica from Iran has an irregular domed form rising to a pointed top. Its structure includes a broad upper opening and a sequence of holes arranged along the lower edge. Turquoise, deep blue and earthy tones create elongated bands that follow the rounded volume. A fine branching pattern runs across the blue areas, producing a lively graphic texture that remains clearly visible from the different sides.
