Details
This Persian maiolica vase has a rectangular body with rounded edges and a short circular neck. Stylised fish with light-coloured bodies and curved tails decorate the sides and the top around the neck. Black outlines define the design, with burgundy, blue and ochre-yellow grid details. The light green background varies in tone. A thin dark line separates the neck from the flared white rim.
