Maiolica from Iran, with a compact form, rounded body, circular foot, narrow neck and wide flared opening. Floral decoration wraps around the body with large pink and orange flowers, small blue buds, green leaves and dark scrolling stems on a pale base. A geometric band in shades of blue defines the neck, while the rim and interior are ochre. The dense design follows the shape of the object in a continuous composition.
