Persian maiolica from Iran, shaped with a tall, tapered body, circular base, oval opening and sloping upper profile. The decoration depicts a dense arrangement of flowers and leaves defined by dark outlines. Pink, blue, yellow, orange and green enliven the pale ground, while bands in shades of brown mark the rim and base. The interior, visible through the opening, is finished in warm ochre tones.
