Its sliding lid is distinguished by a golden floral miniature on a red field, arranged with flowers, leaves, and broad blossoms. Along the sides, dense Persian geometric inlay brings together cream, brown, green, and red tones. Sliding the lid sideways reveals a light-coloured inner compartment whose plain, undecorated finish contrasts with the detailed exterior.
